House of Kapnists - House of Stenbock-Fermors
Detailed description
The architectural structure was erected in 1830 and rebuilt in 1902 according to the design of architect Vladimir Petrovich Zeidler. In 1902-1904, the owner of the house was Countess Nadezhda Alekseevna Kapnist. In 1859-1862, the Prussian envoy, Prince Otto von Bismarck, lived and worked here. There is a memorial plaque on the building in his honor.
