City estate of merchant A.V. Krupennikov
Detailed description
In 1912, the mansion of the merchant A.V. Krupennikov was built. The building had an unusual shape: a dome with round windows, intricate decorations and a symmetrical composition of facades. Krupennikov occupied the house for only five years, before the 1917 revolution. The building also housed an off-site security point and a passport office. Today, the building belongs to the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a monument of cultural heritage. The building is empty and in need of restoration.
