The main facade is on the garden side, where the ruins of an artificial landscape created in the past are located. The mansion has preserved several state rooms, which impress with their luxury, as well as the lobby, which is decorated with high-quality stained glass made using etching techniques. The Kirshten family were the leading entrepreneurs of the Russian rubber industry in the 19th century and created the famous St. Petersburg shoe factory Skorokhod. In the period after the October Revolution, the building was transferred to the department of the Commissariat of Food of the Petrocommune, and then passed from one tenant to another.
