Detailed description
A large urban estate on Vorontsovo Pole Street in Moscow, which belonged to the influential dynasties of the late 19th and early 20th centuries - the Latyshevs, Bakhruzhins, Bardigins, Vogau and Marx. The mansion was rebuilt several times and acquired its current appearance only after architect Ivan Balukhin undertook its reconstruction in 1911. The mansion became known by the unofficial nickname "Snake Talking House". The Indian Embassy has been located in the mansion since 1952.
