The mansion of N.A. Golubeva
Detailed description
The two-storey corner house was built in 1882. Before that, the estate of the family of the Moscow merchant Smirnov was located here. In the early 1980s, the titular councilor's wife, Nadezhda Andreevna Golubeva, purchased a plot and a house. During her lifetime, the facade was decorated in neoclassical style, and the window openings were decorated with delicate stucco flower garlands. The wreaths of flowers were shaped. The front porch was located on the side of the current Pleteshkovskaya Street. In the 1890s, Nadezhda Andreevna opened a private hospital for people with neuroses and mental illnesses. The institution continued to operate after her death, but was closed by her heirs on the eve of the 1917 revolution.
