Zhivago Apartment House
Detailed description
The apartment building was built in 1884, it was a three-story building designed in the neoclassical style, with a semicircular corner and a cheerful visor with a merchant's monogram. The house had a through arch leading to the courtyard. Rusticated walls and elegant classical window decoration harmoniously fit the building into a number of residential buildings. There were shops on the ground floor, the other two floors were rented out. After the Revolution, the fourth floor of the building was completed and the monogram of the owners, Zhivago merchants, was destroyed.
