Buildings of the furniture and carpentry factory of F.A. Meltzer
Detailed description
The furniture factory was founded in the second half of the 19th century by F.I. Meltzer. For his factory, he bought the production buildings owned by A. I. Tur. The factory produced exclusive samples, which were used to decorate the palaces of the royal personages. In the nineties, two additional production buildings were built on the embankment of the Karpovka River and on Popova Street. The buildings were typical three-storey brick buildings for industrial construction. After the revolution, the factory was closed.
