Merchant Platonov 's House
Detailed description
A monument of urban planning and architecture of regional importance, subject to state protection. The building was built in the 80s of the XVIII century for the famous Tula fishing merchant Ignat Kuzmich Platonov. At the beginning of the 20th century, the building was used as an apartment building, exclusively wealthy people lived here. The house is a two- or three-storey building with many outbuildings in the courtyard, which have now been converted into garages. Currently, the building houses a shopping and office center.
