Church in honor of the Holy Ascension of Christ

The Church dedicated to the Holy Ascension of Christ is the oldest church in Samara. Made in classicism, the temple is a single-domed basilica with a bell tower with 9 bells and a thin spire. The temple has a rich decoration, among the shrines of the temple one can note the icons of the Mother of God "It is worthy to eat", "Unfading color", "Joy to All the sorrowful", "Quick-listening". The church has a library, a Sunday school, and an almshouse.
