Mosselprom House
Detailed description
Today, the Mosselprom House in Moscow is a monument to Russian constructivism and the avant-garde, the building was built in 1912. Not only the building is considered valuable for culture and history, but also the panel made by artists A.M. Rodchenko and V. F. Stepanova.
On the eastern end of the building, a painting was made based on sketches by Alexander Rodchenko with images of the main products (sweets, packs of cigarettes, chocolate, beer and bottled water) and font inserts of the slogan "Nowhere but in Mosselprom!", coined by Vladimir Mayakovsky.
The house has smooth tiled facades, separated by paired windows and triangular bay windows, the corner part is highlighted by a small attic. The stairwells are located inside the house and are illuminated by anti-aircraft lanterns on the roof. The building has a trapezoidal shape with a courtyard - well.
