Constantino-Eleninskaya Tower
Detailed description
The walls of the tower were built in 1490. The building was built by Italian architect Pietro Antonio Solari. The tower became the fifth Kremlin tower. The main volume of the tower has the shape of a quadrangle. According to legend, the tower has a secret passage that connects it with the Pokrovsky Cathedral. Initially, the tower did not have a cone-shaped finish. The top of the tent type was built over the quadrangle in the 1680s.
