St. Mary Magdalene Hospital

In 1828, the Board of Trustees, which was created by Empress Maria Feodorovna, bought the mansion of I. V. Kusov for the construction of a hospital. In 1829, the opening took place, after the reconstruction of the house. A church was built at the hospital, named in honor of the Equal-to-the-Apostles St. Mary Magdalene. This is the name given to the hospital.
