Tuchkov Bridge
Detailed description
The Tuchkov Bridge connects the Petrogradskaya side with the first line of Vasilyevsky Island and is one of the most beautiful buildings in the modern city. According to assumptions, the name of the bridge may be associated with the names of engineer AV Tuchkov and merchant Avraham Tuchkov, who provided funds for its construction in 1758.
